Summary
vLLM versions from 0.10.2 before 0.25.0 contain an uncontrolled resource consumption flaw (CVE-2026-116177). The Nemotron-VL processors globally set Image.MAX_IMAGE_PIXELS to None, so unauthenticated attackers can submit a decompression-bomb image to /v1/chat/completions, exhausting memory, OOM-killing the worker, and denying service to co-tenants.
Mitigation
The source does not state a fix yet. Check the original advisory for updates.
