Versioned dataset releases (the files published on the dataset page and on Zenodo) are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. You may use, share and build on them for any purpose, including commercial purposes, as long as you credit AI Sec Watch and cite the release you used. Citation formats are on the dataset page.
The live service is free for personal use, research, teaching, internal use inside an organization, open-source projects and journalism, within the published rate limits (60 requests per minute per client for the API). Records are collected from public sources and each one links back to its source; the summaries and labels are generated automatically and may contain errors.
Using the live API, feeds or registry to build a commercial product or service that resells, mirrors or substitutes for AI Sec Watch, or that needs more than the public rate limits, requires a commercial license. Contact the maintainer through the site linked in the footer.
Do not scrape the site in place of the API, remove attribution from embedded badges or widgets, or present the data as your own. Webhook and push registrations may be removed if they fail repeatedly or point to unsafe destinations.
The platform's source code is published under the Functional Source License, version 1.1, with an MIT future license (FSL-1.1-MIT). You may read, run, modify and redistribute it for any purpose except offering a competing commercial product or service, and each version becomes available under the MIT license two years after its release. The full text is in the LICENSE file of the repository.
The site, the API and the dataset are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind. Security decisions should rest on the original advisories, which every record links to, not on this site alone.
