Summary

TensorFlow's `AvgPoolOp` function does not check that its `ksize` argument is positive. A negative `ksize` triggers a `CHECK` failure that crashes the program. The fix is in GitHub commit 3a6ac52664c6c095aa2b114e742b0aa17fdce78f, and it will ship in TensorFlow 2.10.0.

Mitigation

Patched in GitHub commit 3a6ac52664c6c095aa2b114e742b0aa17fdce78f, to be included in TensorFlow 2.10.0. The commit will also be cherry-picked to TensorFlow 2.9.1, 2.8.1 and 2.7.2. No known workarounds.
