Summary

A heap buffer overflow in tf.raw_ops.SparseSplit in TensorFlow lets an attacker read or write past a heap buffer. The flaw is that the implementation in sparse_tensor.h indexes an array using an offset the user controls. TensorFlow 2.5.0, along with TensorFlow 2.4.2, 2.3.3, 2.2.3 and 2.1.4, are affected.

Mitigation

The fix will be included in TensorFlow 2.5.0. The commit will also be cherry-picked to TensorFlow 2.4.2, 2.3.3, 2.2.3 and 2.1.4.
