Summary
hagent through commit 761eec6 contains an OS command injection flaw in the args parameter of the hagent_arduino and hagent_esp32 tools. Crafted args are interpolated into arduino-cli and idf.py commands run with subprocess.run(shell=True), so MCP clients, or prompt-injected agents, can execute shell commands as the MCP server user.
Mitigation
The source does not state a fix yet. Check the original advisory for updates.
