The problem occurs because the code uses an outdated constructor method that fails abruptly when it encounters numeric overflow (when a number gets too large for the system to handle), rather than handling the error gracefully.
Solution / Mitigation
The fix will be included in TensorFlow 2.5.0. Additionally, the fix will be applied to TensorFlow 2.4.2, TensorFlow 2.3.3, TensorFlow 2.2.3, and TensorFlow 2.1.4, which are still in the supported range.
