Summary
Anthropic has launched OSS Scanner, a free, opt-in service that uses its Claude models, including Mythos, to find vulnerabilities in open source projects. Participating maintainers receive reproduction details and proposed fixes when available, without waiting for Anthropic's researchers to validate the findings. Over six months, Anthropic reports 29,000 candidate vulnerabilities, of which about 6,000 were manually reviewed and triaged.
