Summary
Anthropic is expanding its Cyber Verification Program with three access tiers (Defense Access, Red Team Access and Specialized Access) that reduce safeguards on its advanced models, including Claude Opus 5.5, Claude Sonnet 5.5 and Claude Mythos 5.1, for vetted security teams. The program merges Project Glasswing with the earlier CVP, and Specialized Access reviews are conducted with the US government. Anthropic's internal CyScenarioBench tests found that Red Team Access completed 34 of 50 trials with no blocks, while Defense Access blocked 46 of 50.
