Summary
CVE-2025-66450 affects LibreChat versions 0.8.0 and below. An attacker can modify the iconURL parameter of the POST request sent when a user posts a question, and the malicious code is stored in the chat and can be shared with other users. Resources loaded from a potentially malicious tracker when a chat is shared can cause loss of privacy for users who open the shared link.
Mitigation
This issue is fixed in version 0.8.1.
