The EU’s next chapter in AI is agentic

OpenAI's latest report, from its Economic Research team, examines how agentic AI use is growing across EU enterprises and small businesses. In its EU sample, Codex and ChatGPT Work account for more than half of output tokens among ChatGPT Enterprise customers, and weekly active users among EU small and medium businesses grew more than eightfold since May 2026. Adoption varies widely, from 22% of output tokens in Slovenia to 85% in Lithuania.
