You can generate and edit Google Docs files directly in Gemini chats now

Summary

Google now lets all Gemini users generate, preview and edit PDFs, Google Docs, Google Sheets, slide decks, Markdown, TXT and code files directly within Gemini chats. PDF previews and editing work on both web and mobile, while other formats are currently limited to the web version. Users can expand documents to full-screen editing and highlight text to ask Gemini questions about it.
