CVE-2022-23581 is a denial-of-service flaw in the Grappler optimizer in TensorFlow. An attacker can alter a `SavedModel` so that `IsSimplifiableReshape` triggers `CHECK` failures, which is classified as CWE-617 (Reachable Assertion). The fix will be included in TensorFlow 2.8.0, with backports planned for TensorFlow 2.7.1, 2.6.3 and 2.5.3.

Mitigation

Fix will be included in TensorFlow 2.8.0. The commit will also be cherry-picked to TensorFlow 2.7.1, TensorFlow 2.6.3, and TensorFlow 2.5.3.
