A denial-of-service flaw in TensorFlow lets an attacker trigger a CHECK-failure through tf.raw_ops.RFFT. Eigen code operating on an empty matrix hits an assertion, which terminates the program.

Mitigation

The fix will be included in TensorFlow 2.5.0. The commit will also be cherrypicked to TensorFlow 2.4.2, 2.3.3, 2.2.3 and 2.1.4.
